Tips on how to be entertained by TV shows

WATCH HERE
There are lots of TV shows sprouting this New Year. Starting from drama, comedy, action, crime, and even animations, we have it all on the TV show schedule. But, the question is, “Are you entertained?”

Perhaps, you are just on your room now waiting for something that could awaken your mood or you are facing your TV everyday but couldn’t just connect with the laughs, cries, and lines of the shows.

TV Shows, for me, are just good ways of diverting from the real busy world to a world of relaxing imagination. Today, I have some tips for you to start appreciating them and could use them as your stress-removing medicine after a day’s work.

First, you need to seek your emotion first. I mean find a certain emotion that your inner self is hungry for in that moment, and then look for a show that could satisfy that. It is not always the funny shows that our hearts desire, sometimes we need the taste of horror or thrill. If our hunger is satisfied, we could connect to those shows easily, and eventually we will be entertained.

Secondly, schedule your watch time. Don’t just sit in there and browse the channels. You need to have a plan. The best thing to do this is to look for a TV show schedule, then have a copy of it in front of your refrigerator or anywhere else easy to find. Fit your daily schedule to your TV watching schedule and expect the entertainment that you need.

Thirdly, don’t just observe the characters of the show or the fancy scripts, go deeper to the plot. Most of the time, the TV show staffs are working hard to the flow of the story, so expect goodness with that.

Fourthly, extend your imagination. You need to have your own outside world connected to you every time you watch your show. Most shows are products of imaginations. So, you need to have a basket of your own for those to be field. If you are too literal and serious with your life, you wouldn’t reach 60.

Lastly, you need to accept that the fact that sometimes, left at home, the TV is your only source of entertainment. But after you turn it on, you will be amazed by the enormity of the amusement. At the end of the day, you could say, “Thank God I have my TV!”

Those are tips.

Hopefully, you did realize something after reading those. So, what are you waiting for? Looks like your favorite serial killer Dexter is on TV now or perhaps you could also join the outpouring of emotions in Private Practice.
It is always good to watch TV shows!
