Well, not all the time when you open your TV, you’ll know what kind of show that is. There are times that you laugh on it considering that it was a comedy show but sadly, it was a crime drama. Wehehehe! That would be funny but admit it or not, you have been with that funny experience once in a while. So, how to know that the show you are watching is in the line of what genre?
Simple! Just follow the steps below:
First, the script is the best and the most noticeable sign. Of course, if people in that show joke all the time, don’t expect that it would end up with the hugs and kisses of a romantic drama. Listen to what they are talking about, they may appear joking but Dexter is not a comedy show. Besides, you’ll know it when an audio background is played, people are cheering!
Second, the characters are sometimes so obvious. Michael C. Hall may seemed to be having a funny or friendly face good for love stories, but he is not most of the time, he is even a killer on Dexter. Charlie Sheen is very recognizable with the eyes. And don’t get wrong with Paul Wesley, he is too hot for a comedy show.
Third, the plot will make sense. Of course, the environment, the walks of the people involved, they will all tell you facts about the show. Even the soundtrack of the show will whisper to you what is exactly happening in your TV.
Lastly, if you are still confused, just don’t mind on what genre it is. Until you are entertained, mind the genre later, just enjoy the feeling perfectly.
Don’t make “watching TV” a challenge for you. Do it as an entertainment. Do it for pleasure. Do it for satisfaction. In fact, it is there to give you what you want not to be defined.
